ABDO is a publisher of exceptional PK-12 grade educational content for school and public libraries

 

Reason
Lacking a brand champion, the elements that had defined ABDO were incohesive and running rampant on everything from catalogs to books. From the outside, the company looked dated with mediocre product—which was far from the truth. This brand needed strong, cohesive standards, and a comprehensive system of elements to reflect its fun personality and awesome content.

Rhyme
After organizing each collection of titles and employing a simple and bright color palette, the new look and feel started coming to life. Each division was redefined visually to reflect its purpose, and their imprints followed suit. Fresh, modern brand fonts were chosen and implemented for print and screen. The new graphic system was eventually applied to all collateral, creating a strong, vibrant brand, truly reflective of the company.
